As the Privacy Director, you are the “go-to” privacy subject matter expert at CoverMyMeds. You’ll own a broad range of healthcare privacy functions, including ensuring CoverMyMeds remains compliant with applicable privacy laws and regulations with a focus on HIPAA and HITECH. You’ll manage privacy-related policies, and seek ways to identify and mitigate risk and help the drive the business. You will be part of the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team and champion a culture of ethics and integrity through your partnerships with every level of the organization.

You are a Subject Matter Expert on the privacy landscape, with a strong knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH. You understand and can identify privacy and related risk in a highly regulated healthcare environment. You have excellent communication and relationship management skills, allowing you to interact with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization. You’re self-motivated and comfortable driving multiple projects to completion in a high energy, fast-paced, complex setting.
