User Experience Designer, Patient

We’ve spun up a team focused on the healthcare consumer tasked with exploring the problem-space and ultimately creating products that change the way that you and I, and millions of other patients, access our medications. The design challenges ahead of us are exciting, inspiring, and perfect for someone who wants to tackle problems that nobody has before! 

As a User Experience Designer on the Patient team, you will be expected to move fast, challenge the status quo, and design bold experiments. You will facilitate learning across the team, whether it be through a series of 1-on-1 interviews or by partnering with other team members to carry create an A/B test to prove a hypothesis. And you will craft delightful experience across web and mobile applications. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Work on a cross-functional product team with plenty of opportunities to continue learning while also mentoring others. 

  • Become an expert on how the current healthcare ecosystem works, and how the consumer experiences it 

  • Span the UX spectrum, from generative research to beautiful UI design and everything in between. 

  • Design experiments to validate assumptions and ideas 

  • Partner with team members throughout the product life cycle on an ultra-collaborative team 

  • Create low and high-fidelity prototypes to use from new-concept ideation through usability evaluation of solutions        

  • Define design components, patterns, and workflows to be used across products   

About You: 

  • You are excited about solving big problems that span across the design spectrum: UI, UX, and Service Design. 

  • You look for opportunities to solve problems in unusual and innovative ways. 

  • You have a knack for distilling complicated problems into simple and elegant solutions. 

  • You have experience with a variety of discovery methods. 

  • You have a balanced understanding of strategy, research, interaction and visual design ... 

  • … however, you’re not an all-around expert in all things UX, but someone confident enough to step outside of your comfort zone and learn. 

  • You are proficient with and opinionated about design tools 

  • You are passionate about technology and design, always wanting to learn about new industry trends and best practices 

  • 2+ years experience working in a software product design role with a portfolio to show off your problem-solving skills. Experience designing for iOS is a plus.
