The Senior Director, Account Management at CoverMyMeds makes a significant contribution to our business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Specialty, the role is broadly responsible for working in collaboration with sales, and account management partners to drive client strategy and customer value across the Specialty business unit.

What You’ll Do

Provide oversight and strategic direction to Account Management Leaders to ensure revenue and profitability of transactions generated for each customer as well as clear communication of AMP value
Support new business, account renewal, and defense conversations through customized reporting and collateral
Recruit, coach and develop a team of leaders skilled at analyzing and addressing customer and operational necessities
Lead development and execution of strategies involving an enterprise level of pharma partnerships throughout the process of value discovery, realization and optimization
Partner with leadership across RxTS and McKesson so ensure we have an Enterprise first mindset when it comes to how we best work internally to support our customers.
Partner with AMP patient services leadership to ensure team are working closely and have the proper tooling to continuously improve program KPIs and patient access outcomes
Help transform the client conversation to value centric consultation. Develop materials, talking points and training that shift approach to value-based relationships centered on partnership and client KPIs
Provide thought-leadership on client needs and how to align current product capabilities
Form strong partnership with operations to build an environment of continuous improvement of our AMP program
Deliver high-impact recommendations for CoverMyMeds clients by being the expert on digital benchmarking, value modeling, customer experience design, and patient journey optimization
Assist sales efforts to create enterprise client relationships
Support sales and account management teams through storytelling and case studies
Develop and execute annually a sound strategic business plan in line with top and bottom line fiscal goals; ensures that the strategy is in alignment with company organizational goals and strategies to maximize profitability while delivering on commercial priorities of the customer.
Work with marketing to provide client-facing materials to drive client value
Improve team ability in objection handling and value centric consultative conversations.
Drive consistent client communication messaging throughout the vertical
In tandem with analytics leadership, advise on the critical KPIs along the patient journey to incorporate into our data offering as we evolve our reporting package
Analyze data to identify patterns, client insights, opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement
Our ideal candidate has more than 10 years of professional experience and at least 6 years in a diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation role. More specific qualifications include:
13+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial business experience, in Sales/Account Management, Marketing or Strategy disciplines.
At least 10 years of experience serving in a senior management capacity, leading and managing major operational areas for pharmaceutical, healthcare or similar divisions.
Experience leading multi-site Director level leaders each with customer facing strategic account management teams.
Experience navigating high stakes negotiations
Solid business and financial acumen with direct financial responsibility and demonstrated track record of driving revenues to meet or exceed business goals.
Strong strategic acumen with an understanding of data analytics, preferably within compliance/persistency fields
Healthcare technology experience is a plus
Proven track record of solving difficult problems under time constraints
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Capability to mobilize quickly and change direction as needed
Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with executive level customers.
College degree required
Willing to travel as needed up to 20-60%
