Sales Associate

Summary
CoverMyMeds is continuing to build a world-class sales organization to expand the reach of our solutions. As a Sales Associate, you’ll directly contribute to the growth of CoverMyMeds by generating qualified leads for our Sales team. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you’ll help develop comprehensive strategies for prospecting and identifying qualified leads, and leverage your personable communication skills to discover and drive new business.  

What You’ll Do

  • Generate qualified leads through phone and email prospecting warm and cold leads
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business
  • Schedule phone appointments with decision makers
  • Maintain accurate and timely call notes, contacts and opportunities in SalesForce CRM
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity goals to ensure both individual and company revenue objectives 
  • Map out target account organization structure and identify key decision makers
  • Kick-off discovery process for sales opportunities and transition qualified leads to Sales Directors 
  • Follow-up on marketing campaigns (webinars, seminars, trade shows, etc.)
  • Manage and track leads in the Salesforce.com leads database from qualified leads to opportunities

About You
You love engaging with prospects on the phone and leave no sales lead behind. You are very eager to create new business by leveraging a proprietary sales process and searching for key prospects on various channels (such as LinkedIn).  You enjoy taking the initiative to create a dialogue with these prospects both on and offline. You love turning cold calls into warm exchanges and you thrive working in (and leading) a team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • You’re not afraid to pick up the phone 
  • Hardworking, self-starter with a track record of success and drive for achievement
  • At least 5 years of customer facing experience required (including sales/cold-calling experience, possibly in a quota-carrying role)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • A good understanding of the sales/buying cycle; ability to assess sales opportunities is a plus
  • Able to handle rejection
  • Strong communication skills (remote and/or in-person)
  • Willing to work beyond a traditional 9 to 5
