Product Manager

The Product Manager for our Incubation Studio is responsible for successfully creating and delivering new provider-facing products that enhance and complement CoverMyMeds core electronic Prior Authorization product and contribute toward our mission of helping patients receive the medications they need to lead healthy lives. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional team representing software development, product, analytics, and sales.  Together, the team will ideate, define, validate, and deliver new solutions within our Provider business unit.  You’ll test hypotheses, evaluate product-market fit, develop MVPs, help scale new products, and support them until they are ready to graduate from the Incubation Studio to directly influence our continued growth as a company.  You’ll work on small teams with endless opportunities to take on responsibility and continue learning.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a variety of internal stakeholders and external customers to define pain points and test potential solutions
  • Validate the efficacy of proposed solutions, including defining customers and users, go-to-market strategies, and business models
  • Establish a product roadmap laying out product development milestones to enable realistic forecasting, prioritization, communication, and success criteria
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog to ensure the maximum value of the delivery team
  • Work daily with our software development team on implementation, including collaborating on solutions to issues as they arise
  • Work with our analytics and user insights teams to inform product iterations
  • Conduct primary research on prescribers, nurses, and staff
  • Establish and monitor key metrics on product health and performance and criteria for graduating from the Lab
  • Work with our sales and marketing teams to properly position products in the marketplace
  • Participate in meetings with strategic partners, rallying a team around a common vision
  • Define specific feature and service requirements, including acceptance criteria

About You

You have the full gamut of product management skills: great communication and collaboration skills, innate user empathy, and an obsession with delivering a product that provides values to our users and contributes to our mission.

  • 10+ years of experience working with software development
  • 7+ years of experience working in agile development
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably ideating and vetting new products
  • Proven experience working directly with customers and users to gather requirements and evaluate product-market fit
  • Proven experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data related to new product development
  • Devoted to learning, constantly working to stay up-to-date on our industry
  • A natural collaborator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with stakeholders
  • A focused person who can identify and prioritize the most important things amongst a myriad of important things
  • Thrive in the inherit ambiguity and risk that comes with creating new things
  • Skilled at rallying and exciting a diverse team around a common vision
