Event Manager

CoverMyMeds is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented and creative Event Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This position will support our marketing, sales and account management teams in carrying out event marketing initiatives and maintaining the CoverMyMeds brand throughout all efforts.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the marketing team on event strategy that positions CoverMyMeds as an industry-leading medication access company 
  • Identify new opportunities to engage conference attendees, generate leads for sales teams, foster existing client relationships 
  • Work with events team and finance team to manage event budget 
  • Track event leads as well as campaign influence to prove ROI within Salesforce 
  • Collaborate frequently with our exhibit house on booth set up, exhibit orders, shipping, graphics, invoicing and more 
  • Offer creative ideas to drive leads and engagement with pre, during and post show marketing efforts 
  • Research and recommend events to sponsor that support CoverMyMeds business objectives and help the company reach its goals 
  • For our largest events, oversee booth installation and dismantle on site 
  • Host event prep meetings with conference attendees, internal leaders to ensure event objectives, goals and logistics are clear before the show (in the office and/or onsite) 
  • Create event prep/briefing documents that include logistical information, goals, talking points 
  • Learn the CoverMyMeds brand and ensure we’re carrying out the brand at industry events, positioning us as an industry leader in medication access 
  • Collaborate with marketing managers and sales team members on presentations for speaking engagements, literature have on hand during events and in booth presentations to ensure a cohesive message and product position throughout the event 
  • Help maintain our collateral and booth portals which includes training new team members on how to use these tools, place orders as needed and add new items  
  • Work with legal team on event contracts  

 

About You

A resourceful, self-motivated individual with tradeshow strategy and execution experience. You are adaptable, energetic, highly organized, creative and innovative. You have a desire to learn the healthcare industry, our products, competitors and partners.  

  • 5+ years relevant event marketing experience  
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail  
  • Experience working with an exhibit house and outside vendors  
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to travel 5-10%
