Account Manager, Pharmacy

We’re looking for a relationship management professional to own the daily management of assigned pharmacy client accounts. These team members play a vital role in developing and overseeing relationships with our clients. This position oversees the rollout of new account integrations, provides ongoing account support, and develops targeted strategies to ensure clients’ needs are met.

 

What You'll Do

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees’ primary responsibilities.

  • Provide day-to-day relationship and account management 
  • Manage implementation of rollouts, utilization initiatives, and other value-added services
  • Coordinate and lead webinars and reporting calls
  • Engage in strategic planning with management team to identify and capitalize on retention and expansion opportunities
  • Work closely with external partners to maintain and grow our pharmacy presence
  • Partner with Account Coordinators, other Account Managers, Sales, and Engineering to ensure all team members understand account needs
  • Conduct research and analyze user and client data
  • Travel to clients as needed

About You

The ideal candidate prefers to work with a team in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. We believe success in this position requires a healthy mix of left-brain (detail-oriented and analytical) and right-brain (charismatic and collaborative).

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in healthcare strongly preferred, especially with pharmacy
  • At least 2 years of client-facing experience, particularly in account management or sales
  • Demonstrated success in establishing credibility and rapport in order to support effective business relationships
  • Great communicator, both one-on-one, in writing, and in formal presentations, at any level of the organization, from office staff to executives
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical ability
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Results-oriented, with a high level of initiative
