Agile Team Coach

The CoverMyMeds Data Strategy team is looking for an Agile Team Coach to passionately lead our solutions teams for success. This position will focus on coaching and facilitating teams that build a diverse set of data solutions and capabilities that support and engage the entire company.  

This person will be responsible for applying Agile values and principles across Scrum, Less, Scrumban, Kanban and other hybrid frameworks. We are also looking for someone who exhibits a strong appetite for learning deeply and experimentation combined with a passion for coaching and team development.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with several teams to apply lean and agile principles and frameworks
  • Ensure teams conduct effective activities such as planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, stakeholder reviews, and retrospectives, as demonstrated within multiple frameworks
  • Teach teams techniques for work breakdown, metrics, reporting & forecasting work
  • Coach team leaders and stakeholders to use agile approach for the competitive advantage of the team and organization
  • Help teams establish a system of continuous improvement
  • Coach teams toward effective interactions through healthy relationships, working agreements, conflict resolution, decision making, and self-organization
  • Provide guidance through all facets of the data development lifecycleAbout You
  • 3-7 years of ScrumMaster or similar agile team leadership experience in a complex development environment, previous experience leading data teams is a plus
  • Driven learner with an ability to adapt conventional and unconventional approaches for the benefit of your team and stakeholders
  • Experience working both inside & outside of technical teams to reinforce agile understanding & application
  • Proven knowledge and practical application of agile development methodologies, values, and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic and time sensitive work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Passion for ensuring CoverMyMeds is the best place to work and grow
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ScrumMaster certificate is a plus (PSM/CSM)
  • Professional Coaching education is a plus
