Manager, Enterprise Business Systems

The Manager, Enterprise Business Systems, is broadly responsible for support, maintenance, and optimization of our financial systems – NetSuite and Adaptive Insights. A talented candidate taking on this role will work closely with the finance team to define, deliver, and implement solutions within financial systems. The Manager, Enterprise Business Systems will lead a small team of financial system administrators.  The team will manage day-to-day administration and operation of the financial systems as well as projects associated with new lines of business and enhancing existing business operations.  This is an ideal position for a candidate with a bias toward automation and a desire to challenge the status quo.

What You’ll Do

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees’ primary responsibilities.

  • Lead a team consisting of two to three direct reports, performing administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, and troubleshooting
  • Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on NetSuite and Adaptive Insights usage including training, documentation and support as necessary
  • Design and create new saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards based on user requests
  • Optimize financial systems platforms by customizing custom records, forms, fields, and workflows 
  • Migrate and mass update data using CSV imports to maintain data quality
  • Work with key users to drive continuous improvement within the organization
  • Research changes in upcoming versions of NetSuite and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Customers/collaborators include Accounting, FP&A and other key functional and business teams
  • Enable and optimize team’s ability to provide reporting and consolidations to the RxTS segment
  • Provide input and influence on RxTS segment’s overall finance tools and technology roadmap

 

About You

The ideal candidate prefers a team-oriented environment, particularly working with creative entrepreneurs. We believe success in this position requires a passion to excel, and a meticulous and inquisitive approach to tackling business questions.

  • Mid-level experience with NetSuite and/or Adaptive Insights
  • Experience with Hyperion (HFM) and/or SAP financial modules a plus
  • NetSuite certifications a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
  • Experience configuring NetSuite Suiteflow (workflow), fields, tabs, centers, saved searches, reports
  • Ability to translate capability requests into technical specifications
  • Experience supporting high growth, innovative business a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate business scenarios
  • Team leadership experience a plus
